Publix Trip 12/27

So this trip out of pocket was only $7.54.

- Solo cups - $1.64 each. I used a $1 off 2 Publix coupon plus a .75 cents off manufacturer coupon. Making them .39 cents each!
- Snuggle - $2.99 each. I used a .50 cents off manufacturer coupon making them $1.99 each.
- Olay Body Wash - $3.49 each. I used a $1 off Publix coupon and a $2 off manufacturer coupon making them .49 cents each.
- Schick Hydro Razor - $7.99. I used a free coupon that was mailed to me.
- Skintimate - $2.27. I used a Publix coupon making it free with the purchase of the razor.

Publix Trip 12/27

Total out of pocket this trip was $9.14. I also had another transaction I'm going to post next with non food items.

- Welch's Grape Juice - $1.95 each. I used a $1 off manufacturer coupon making them .95 cents each.
- Nestle Cookie Dough - $1.44 each. I used a .75 cents off manufacturer coupon making them .75 cents each.
- Chex Mix - $1.29 each. I used a .50 cents off manufacturer coupon making them .29 cents each.
- A1 - $1.66. I used a printable $1 off manufacturer coupon making it .66 cents.

Kroger 12/16

I didn't take a picture this time either but the only thing I got at Kroger that's worth telling is Kandoo Flushable Wipes.

Publix Trip 12/16

So I was bad and didn't feel like taking a picture of my latest trips to Publix but I will still give you the run down of what all I got. Pretty good deals this week!

-Keebler Club Crackers - $1.84 each.  I used a Publix coupon that is in the Winter Savings book for $1 off 2 and a manufacturer coupon for $1 off 2. Making them .84 each.

-Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate - $1.24 each. I used a .50 off manufacturer coupon. Making them .74 each.

-Cole's Bread Sticks - $1.49 each. I printed out a coupon for Cole's web site for .50 off each. Making them .49 each.

-Chinet Napkins - $1.07 each. I used a printed out coupon from Chinet's web site for $1 off. Making them .07 each.

New York Texas Toast Croutons - $1 each. I used a manufacturer coupon for .40 off each. Making them .20 each.

Publix Trip 12/09

Pretty good trip to Publix today. The only thing that isn't available for you guys in the picture is the Velvetta Skillets, I had a rain check for those. Grand total after coupons was $4.91

Gold Medal Flour - $2.37. I used a .25 off manufacturer coupon that I printed from the gold medal.com. Plus the yellow advantage flyer at Publix has a $1 off store coupon. So .87 cents a bag!
Velvetta Skillets - $1.24. I used a .50 off manufacturer coupon that Brandon's grandmother was gracious enough to print off for me (thanks Nanny!). Making it .24 cents a box
Marzetti Ranch Dip - $1.87. I used a $1 off manufacturer coupon. So .87 cents a tub.

Walmart Trip 11/18

Oral B Rechargeable Toothbrush - $12.82. I used a $10 off manufacturer coupon.

Publix Trip 11/14

Publix trip today after coupons was a total of $19.43. These lasagnas are enough to feed my family for dinner just one pack. So I think we will be eating a good bit of lasagna for a while, lol.

Premium Saltine - $1.50 each. I used .75 cents off 2 manufacturer coupon that was in Sunday's paper.
Stouffer's Lasagna - $3.99 each. I used $1 off manufacturer coupon

Publix Trip 11/11

So I have been shopping lately but I haven't had enough time to post anything that I've bought. So I made it my mission today to make sure I posted my shopping trip, lol. So Publix has a few great deals this week.

Hunt's Diced Tomatoes - $.70 cents each. I used .45 cents off 3 manufacturer coupon. This coupon expires 11/14
Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough - $1.44 each. I used .75 cents off manufacturer coupon. This coupon expires today so you'll have to hurry to catch this one.
TGIFriday's Entrees - $1.85 each but I had a rain check from last week. I used 2 $1 off manufacturer coupons plus a $1 off 2 Publix coupon.
Domino's Sugar 1 lb boxes - $.99 cents each. I used .50 cents off 2 manufacturer coupon.
Gerber Good Start 25 oz - $22.49. I used a $5.00 off Publix coupon
Enfamil Ready Feed Formula - $8.49. I used a $4.00 off Publix coupon
Pampers Cruisers - $10.99. I used $1.50 off manufacturer plus a $5.00 off Publix coupon.

So altogether a total of $36. Not too bad especially with formula and diapers, those things can cost you an arm and a leg, haha.

This trip was last week but I figured I'd post it anyways because until tomorrow you can still get the bar soap.

Dove 2 Pack Bar Soap - $2.49. I used $3 off 3 Publix coupon from the green advantage buy flyer, plus $1.50 off one manufacturer coupon.
Similac Powder Formula - $22.49. I used $5 off 2 Publix coupon plus 2 $2 off manufacturer coupon.
Similac Ready to Feed - $6.39. I used a $3 off Publix coupon that was mailed to me plus a $2 off manufacturer coupon.
Mt Olive Pickles - $1.25. I used a $.75 cents off manufacturer coupon that I found inside another product I had already purchased

Kroger Trip 10/23

More free toothpaste. My family will have the cleanest teeth around, lol

Publix Trip 10/27

So for this trip I did pretty good after my mail-in rebate for the Prevacid. I spent $22 and my mail in rebate will give me $13 back. So $9 for 4 bags of chicken is pretty good.

Tyson Anytizers - $4.25 each. I used $1 off manufacturer's coupons
Prevacid - $16.47. I used $4 off manufacturer's coupon.

Walmart Trip 10/27

So for this trip I had a price match from Kroger's ad for the toothpaste plus used Publix coupons for the trial size Axe.
Crest toothpaste - $1 - I used $1 off manufacturer coupons from P&G insert.
Axe trial size body wash - $.97 cents - I used a Publix coupon for $3 off 3 items which was in the green advantage buy ad. You've got to hurry to get this one cause the coupon expires tomorrow

I just love the trips that I only have to pay tax for. :)

Kroger Trip 10/27

So Kroger has started a new coupon policy for those who don't know. The new limit is 5 coupons per like item. So I could only buy 5 toothpastes today even though I had more coupons, which is a bummer but I can always make more trips.

Birds Eye Frozen Broccoli - $1 - I used $.50 cents off manufacturer's coupon from a few weeks ago. Which mean free broccoli which doesn't happen too often so I was excited.
Crest Toothpaste - $1 - I used $.50 cents off coupon from the P&G insert from the beginning of the month. If you look in that insert there is actually two coupons that will give you free toothpaste. One is $1 off and the other is $.50 cents off. I personally used my $.50 cents off at Kroger since it doubles then went to Walmart and used my $1 off.

Wal-Mart Trip 10/14

So this trip was good last night, it's always good when you don't have to pay for something. Although I do have to go back since they are still out of some items I wanted to get.

- Old Spice travel size - $.97 cents each. I used $1 off manufacturer coupon from Sunday's paper on October 2 in the P&G insert.
- Purina cat food - $1.25 each. I used $4 off manufacturer coupon from last Sunday the 9th.
- Gain - $.97 each. I used a coupon that was mailed to my with a sample for $1 off.
- Transformers toys - $4.97 each. I used a printable coupon for $5 off that I found on raininghotcoupons.com
- Aquafresh travel size - $.97 cents each. I used $1 off manufacturer coupon from Sunday September 11th paper

CVS Trip 10/12

This week the only deal I saw that I really wanted to take advantage of was for Sparkle paper towels. Luckily CVS is limiting three Extrabucks per card on this deal, so I was able to buy all 3 8 count packs on one card.

- Sparkle 8 count paper towels - $4.99. I used $1 off manufacturer coupon from 2 or 3 weeks ago Sunday paper. Plus after you pay, you will receive a print out for $3 Extrabuck that you can use on anything else in the store. So basically it makes the paper towels $2.99 each. For each pack of paper towels you buy you will get $1 Extrabuck printed on your receipt.

Publix Trip 10/12

So if you have a dog or like pickles this trip today was meant for you, lol.

-Kibbles and Bits 4 lb bags - $2.49 each. I used $1.50 off manufacturer coupon that was in Sunday's paper a few weeks back 8/28 and 9/18. Both coupons have not expired yet so you can snag these
- Vlassic Pickles - $1.44 each. I used $.55 cents off manufacturer coupon that was in Sunday's paper on 9/11.
- I also got 2 boxes of Zatarain's but my coupon was from my Kroger home mailer

Kroger Trip 10/11

I was pretty happy with my Kroger trip today, a savings of 62 %. This trip will require you to load coupons onto your Kroger card. To do this, you will need to go to kroger.com and register your card (if you haven't already). After you register you can begin to download coupons onto your card and they can be used normally one hour after being loaded.

- Mio - $3.99. I used my loaded coupon for $1 off.
- Gilette body wash - $2.99. I used my loaded coupon for $2 off and a manufacturer's coupon for $2 off.
- Dawn Liquid Detergent - $1.49. I used my loaded coupon for $.25 cents off and a manufacturer's coupon for $.50 cents off which doubled to a $1 off.
- Robittusin - $2.89. My store had these clearanced at the front. I used $1 off printable coupon from coupons.com
- Dr Pepper 10 - $.99 cents each. I used $.55 cents off that I found on a display at the front of Kroger for this.

So my total trip only ended up being $7.58 after tax. Not too bad. I have heard that Kroger won't let you use a manufacturer coupon and a loaded coupon on one item. I personally have never had a problem doing this at my store but I just thought I would give you a heads up. Also, the loaded coupon can only be used once and only for one item. Have fun shopping!

Publix Trip 10/9/2011

Ok so I managed to get a trip in this morning to Publix. Here is my list and coupon match ups.

- Mueller's Pasta - $.75 cents each. I used a coupon I found in store in a dispenser in front of Mueller's for $1 off 2.
- Beech Nut Baby Food - $.27 cents each. I used a coupon for $2 off 16 jars that you can find on the Beech Nut Facebook page.
- Hellman's Mayo - $2.49 each. I used $1.75 off one coupon that I found in Publix on a display.
- Hall's Cough Drops - $.62 each. I used $1 off 2 coupon that was in the paper on 9/18.
- Oreo Cookies - $2.50 each. I used my coupon I got in the mail from Publix from the Stock Up and Save event they have going on.
- Kraft Mac and Cheese - $2 each. I used another coupon from my Stock Up and Save booklet I got in the mail.

Also Publix has Hidden Valley dressing on sale for $1.68 each. Last week there was $1 off coupon in Sunday's paper. I bought those earlier this week and just never posted a picture.

Wal-Mart Trip 10/9/2011

Today I went to Wal-Mart and did a little shopping. Here is my layout of what I got and which coupons I used.

-Covergirl eye shadow - $3.14 each. Use coupons for $8 off 2 which was in last week's paper in the P&G insert.
-Purina One Beyond - $1.25 each. I used the coupon for $4 off which was in this week's paper in the Smart Source insert. (I know this coupon says dog food but my store was out. So I got cat food and it worked just fine.)
-Mentos Up 2 U gum - $1.28 each. I used the coupon for $1 off which was in this week's paper in the Smart Source insert.
-Lysol Dual Action Wipes - $2.48 each. There is a mail-in rebate in this week's paper. So after I get my rebate these will be free.

That was all I was able to grab this week but you may be able to do better. There is also $2 off Schick disposable razors. These razors are $1.97 for 12 at Wal-Mart, however thanks to Newnan Wal-Mart being out of stock :( I wasn't able to get these just yet.

The Beginning

So after much thought and a little nudging from friends. I figured I would try a blog to share my coupon steals and deals. Hopefully this can help everybody I know save as much money as I have. It's kind of a passion, ok obsession, of mine to save money. Especially since I am now in school and work hours are pretty short right now. So give me some input or if you want me to post any advice, etc.
